Porcelain Strands, Balls of Texture & Spores of Kindnesses

My most recent porcelain work, “Spores of Kindnesses”, “Balls of Texture” and “Strands” are influenced and inspired by microscopic botanical pollen and spores.

“Having been intrigued by microscopic spore and pollen images, I think about kindnesses in much the same way.  Kindnesses like spores or pollen are very small, seemingly insignificant phenomena’s which can be very powerful. How are all the kindnesses bestowed swirling around us, many we never were aware of?  My Spores of Kindnesses aspire to bring this idea into being, with-in each one, are as many kindnesses as you can imagine, and many more that you have not imagined yet.”
